“Serenade” contains the Serenade for orchestra, Opus 30, performed by the New Arts Sinfonia, and Octet for string quintet and winds, Opus 25, performed by Juventas New Music Ensemble.
“Leaves to the Wind” pairs Piano Quartet (violin, viola, cello, and piano), Opus 24, and woodwind quintet, Leaves to the Wind, performed by the Mount Auburn Arts Ensemble.
Seven movements for classical guitar composed in 2022. The work recalls old musical forms but with modern differences. The first movement, Prelude, uses six beats per bar shifting between subdivisions of two and three. The second movement, a da capo fugue, is reminiscent of the baroque period but ventures far afield harmonically. A brief Echo movement features two parts in close imitation. The fourth movement, Berceuse, is a lullaby with livelier middle section that features a running bass. A vigorous March follows with a quiet and plaintive middle section. The following Romanza is amorous in character with a curious triplet accompaniment. The work concludes with a virtuosic and exuberant Rondo.

Composed in 2020 in four movements, thirty-four minutes duration. The sonata features elements of Chinese, Greek, and Western classical music. The first movement (Andante) is a sonata-allegro that contrasts a stately theme with stormier sections. The second movement (Vivace) is agitated but contains a peaceful trio section using a Chinese pentatonic scale. The third movement (Adagio) follows a standard classical form and recalls elements of the first movement. The last movement, Rondo greco, suggests traditional Greek folk dance. Between its repetitions, a celebrated Chinese folk song (Shepherd's Song) is quoted verbatim. Finally, the stately theme of the first movement reappears with heightened feeling. The work ends with a rousing accelerando suggesting Greek folk dance.

Four movements for brass quintet composed in 2023. Duration eighteen minutes. The first movement (Ricercare) recalls brass music of the Italian Renaissance. The second movement (Andante) begins with a gentle theme featuring the second trumpet. A middle section recalls the melodic interplay of the first movement, after which the opening theme returns in the tuba. The third movement (Scherzo) is a lively dialogue that gives way to a Trio in which horn and trombone share an expansive theme. The fourth movement (Rondo) is humorous and makes full use of rapid tonguing and fingering.
A medley of five celebrated American hymns ("Land of Rest", "How Great Thou Art", "Lord I Want to Be a Christian", "Lift Every Voice and Sing", and "Lead Me Lord") for woodwind quintet. Approximately fourteen minutes duration.
Three movements: Theme and Variations, Waltz lent, and Allegro giocoso.
A three-movement work from 2024. The first movement is a sonata form in lyrical style. The second movement contrasts a somber theme with a fugal middle section. The movement closes with a return of the opening music accompanied by the fugue subject. The third movement is a rondo in the minor key, agitated by tremolos. Finally the main theme is stated in a hopeful major key and the piece ends cheerfully.
Simple Suite gives players in their first years of study music to perform with piano that develops a singing style. Though the solo part is originally for Bb clarinet, most any melody instrument may be used. Alternate solo parts for violin and Eb alto saxophone are included in the printed edition.
Three movements composed in 2020. The opening movement (Con brio) is jovial, with pungent articulations and frequent imitations. A second theme, in the bassoon high register, is sentimental by way of contrast. The second movement (Adagio drammatico) recalls baroque sonata style. The piano serves as continuo while the bassoon spins an elaborate aria above and below with rhythmic variety and wide leaps. The third movement (Allegro pastorale) is calm throughout. The bassoon timbre evokes woodlands and Arcadian feelings. Reference is made to themes of the first and second movements before the sonata ends quietly.
A string quartet in three movements composed in 2019, seventeen minutes duration. The first movement is a in an optimistic mood. The second movement is slower, a dialogue between various duet combinations. A mysterious interlude follows in spiccato style. The movement concludes with the opening duets. The last movement is a fugue based on the "mysterious" section of the slow movement, but in more exuberant mood. A slower, ghostly, section follows, only to be tossed off in a boisterous conclusion.
